DAMIEN HIRST

Damien Hirst, born in Bristol, Englan in 1965. He is s a British conceptual artist and the most prominent member of the Young British Artists, He rose to fame in the 1980s and 90s, mounting his spectacular large scale work in unconventional spaces, such as warehouses and factories.  His most notable works include dead animal displays, spin-art, butterfly kaleidoscopes, a diamond studded human skull and pharmaceutical spot paintings.
